a weekend at last! muahaha. have been spending the past week at home with the same routine. wake up for lunch, maple after that all the way until dinner, continue after dinner, sleep. no life, i know.
so i finally got out of the house today! yay(:
met serene for lunch at j8. bumped into emily, then huajia, then carina. HAHA.. aiyoh. so we got our slippers then settled for kfc. yum! walked around a little then got down to church to do the labelling. thank goodness we went early. i almost forgot about the prayer meeting thing at 3.30 man. =/ and combined lifegroup with nana's group today. get well soon xiaona! praying for you!
hopped down to thomson for dinner with serene, audrey, gideon, nick, brandon, samuel and joel after that. we made a hell lotta noise, as usual. blahhh. so we sat there, talked, bummed then wanted to play lan but the shop closes at 10. boo!

both yesterday and today was fun! :)
i loveee weekends.
yesterday-hopped down to church for worship prac. super challenging songs! HAHA. but thank God i got the hang of it. audrey and i had a slow long chat and updating each other about that day too! wheee(: now i have to repeat it all over again to ali and dee la. but its okay! haha. then went down to abel's grandparents place for his birthday party with quite a few others. quotes mehmeh: RATS! =p should have brought our swimming costumes. lol. the pool was sooooo nice and tempting! anyways, food was great! and we sat there talking bout embarrasing childhood stories, guessing "riddles" and uh, telling horror stories. hah.. then stupid nick cracked the crab by using the freaking heavy rectangular metal block to whack it. FAINTS. so we talked till the lights switched off. wah! thank goodness we manage to catch the last bus home. :DDD

so the 4 of us went down to the orchard california fitness branch to fill up the forms after that. hopefully they'll employ us lah. jobless-ness suck. then serene and i went for dinner at kobayashi while vell and his bro went home. woots! havent ate that for a long long time. went to wheelock place to see my birkenstock shoes as well.. it looked soso pretty! yah, so was the price. and then down to far east to see stuff too.
alrights. doomsday is confirmed.. this friday which is 4 more days! BOOO! actually, i felt rather discouraged when i saw past year's JAE cut off points.lotsa things have been running through my head. what if i dont make it? what if God places me in some stupid engineering course? hai.. yaya, you guys are going to ask me to trust God. but it aint easy okay.. i have been trying. but it never fails to bother me again. was holding on to phrases that you guys said: honour God and he will honour you. but it always didnt seem uh, applicated [?!] in my life. i studied like nuts for prelims.. went for endless tuitions and even burnt midnight oil just to study. i studied till my table went crazy, used my table lamp at night till it was on the verge of blowing. studied with audrey from sunset till sunrise and make her keep quiet cause i promised myself to finish a certain amount of work by the next morning. i prayed as i took each paper, prayed before i slept, committed studying times to the Lord. and prelims? 25points. L1R4, not to even mention it. i have no idea at all how my results will be. screwed up ss essay cause i only banged on 3 chapters which apparently and unfortunately NONE came out. i suck at banging, so shant do it ever again. poa was a nightmare! brandon tutored me, mummy tutored me, did so many sums over and over again. and yet Olvl poa just HAD to turn out so differently from the past years. i still vividly remember the pissed off look on kaihua's face when she got up from her seat. lol. i can deceive myself no more. im not at all smart. 11th position in class, yet im the like 84th position in my level. and i got a c5 for english prelim2. the 2nd most important exam and yet i actually flunked compre, for the very very first time in my whole entire education life. so what if i did relatively well for compo? it made no difference, at all. yup, that stupid grade got me discouraged. people like gerald do nothing but game all day can get into a JC without much problem.. he can afford to sleep during the 2nd chinese Olvl retake even though he got a c6 but i cant. but looking on the brightside, God can do wonders.purrrrpleeee.<3

then we rented "the hitch" and went down to alvin's place to watch it. that dodo-bird was trying to trick us into going in the wrong house. fortunately its rather easy to recognise his gate and flowers. *grins widely* show was pretty alright la.. but i wouldnt watch it again though. we went to rekey his room too! millions of sheep related stuff hiding all over. goshh.. haha. saw lots and lots of fugly hideous pictures of me when i was younger in his comp as well. aww man.. take it away lah! >.< and finally down to j8 for dinner with jk, drey, val and arun. alv drove us there.. hah.. how kind.

but we had lifegroup before heading down for the gathering! did chap one of purpose driven life. ahhh, hopefully i'll not break the convenant signed. then headed down to j8 with serene to meet the rest. we had like 2hours of spare time with nothing to do. =/ so me and serene sat outside the ntuc going high and laughing our heads off stupid stuff. totally imageless, but heck.
so i expected like 10+ of us to meet at bishan mrt but only alvin, jun fei and jia liang turned up. wah lau. and the rest were either going to uncle johnson's place straight or they were already there. then never tell me somemore! if not we'll have left long ago. apparently i was the only one who knew the address and how to get there. yah okay, plus alvin.
uncle johnson's place was nice! in fact, its rather big la. cheryl, elin, michelle and calvell were there already. then wei hong and da wei arrived not long after.. followed by aunty june, yazhid, shawn and yong loon. so we were watching some stupid taiwan show thing while waiting for the food to arrive. lol. and the guys played black jack.. GOSH! lady luck was definitely shining on jia liang man. he won plus minus 45 bucks! omg. i think shawn lost quite a lot as well. haha..
we went up to the roof to see the scenery as well. beeeyooooootiful! could see the CBD from his place lah. by the way we were at thomson which isnt very near from town. left at around 6pm.. wanted to go to church but since drey and the rest werent there plus service would be ending, then for what.

so we choose a nice spot direct sunlight and a 7-11 above us. woots! and that women couldnt tahan the sun so she started building sand castles with our cups.. while i was too lazy to get up from baking and play with her. besides, my main aim there was to get myself baked and not to play sand!! >.< omgoshh. and yes! i AM darker already. finally!
then dad picked me up since his office is like at harbourfront tower. convinient! we got home and went to that uncle david's restaurant thing to celebrate matilda's birthday. food was good.. but portion was soso small. x(

its been weeks since i stayed home for one complete day.. or more likely, its been weeks since i've eaten home cooked dinner. haha.. no more vege rice or "tour-round-noel-to-get-drinks" sessions with serene and alvin nemore. kinda brought back a nostalgia lah.
so anyways i was kinda rotting at home. had to wait for my comp to finish that virus scan thing [yah, i think my comp has CANCER or something. got 3 undeletable viruses in there for a long time] so i continued that i kissed dating goodbye book until i uh, fell asleep. >.<>smart enough to stay up till 5am playing gunbound the night before and woke up at 2pm. 8 hours of sleep only leh! alamak!
seriously, i intended to knock off after collecting "junk" from that merlion in maple and chatting a little while longer. but, wahhh! started chatting with vell and he got soso excited over me still having that gb prog thing in my comp. so decided to play for fun but haha. we got so excited over digging holes and thrashing each other. LOL! we vs-ed 2 other players from overseas as well.. dont know what on earth they were trying to say lah! some foreign language which i apparently cant figure out.
RESULTS! my worst nightmare ever.
