1st day of cny was fun! all the "re nao" within the family and stuff. yah. its like 9 families with so many kids and 4 dogs in a bungalow. quite cramped but there was coziness lah. we didnt get to play dai di yesterday! boo! so the kids watched movies before dinner. dinner was pretty alright. aiyah, every cny also eat same food one. =/ the parents watched some dumb chinese police show at the upstair mini-theatre thingy after that. but audrey serene and i left like 15 min after it started. way tooooooo boring.
and we joined in that vege-stirring thingything. aiyah, whatever its called. for once we had space man! haha. our chopsticks were all nice and clean before, so was the table. but once they started mixing that thing.. pwoof! i had only hands with sesame seed and the table was horrendously dirty. lol. they need to learn how to mix gently, really.
felt so busy last night also. was like multi tasking lah. we played our own boring session of dai di [3 people only!] and texting 3 people at the same time. >.< but at least im kept entertained(:

YAYY! at last. saw pretty nice shirts with "VERY PRETTY" prices. then got back by 5 for family gathering at my place.(: dinner was quite good.. except for the fact that i was like PISSED because of people and their NEGETIVITY. dont ask. thats one part i hate most about a full fam gathering. infantile words. totally.

the last day was pretty relaxing. more of fun i suppose.. those in the earlier shift went home like after lunch and the night shift ones didnt even have to come. then everyone sort of changed jobs.. haha. checkers did the typing [data entry] and we, data entry people did the vetting. what did the one and only vetter do? chao to another department to slack. LOL. neways vetting was sosososo fun! =D just highlight, chop and charge card. wheee!
then pot luck at uncle johnson's place next sat! WAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! *excited* never expect my wish to come true. lol.
uncle johnson printed our department photo..!! but he printed the not-nice one lor. wah lau. i was like looking somewhere else and yong loon was doing the sissy flower face thing. haha. and he claims that he's giving us the picture so that we can remember the uncle who loved us all deep deep. LOL.. xD i'll probably never forget that.
we helped clear up the place as well.. that yong loon did the vacumming and okay, they were being SICK. lol.. typical boys lah. all of us bursted out laughing man! yah, even the supervisors. and aunty june will give that "tsk.. so sick" face as usual.

i am deprived of sleep. ughhhh. woke up at 9 plus this morning cause my mum and the aunty were talking so loudly. then only slept at like 3am last night! all because of my msn. haha.. so i spent the whole night trying to find ways to take a bus from serangoon back home since that alvin [choy] was so desperate to find someone who can take 853 from noel with him. yeah, im one! but the route kinda weird lah. and besides that, i "wasted" FOUR HOURS of sleep chatting online with calvell. hahaha! all because he couldnt sleep due to spoilt body alarm and wanted me to uh, chat longer. so sick. how on earth did i survive crapping with that pig until 3am? i dont know.
and so i woke up early to go for another job interview as waitress at the what, parkway mall or something with that calvell. but vell's friend said the manager was BUSY today. so no interview. wahh! serene, haha. if you believe that we got the job, then you're really fill-in-the-blanks. and if you really believe that its 10.50 per hour, then you can REALLY fill in the blanks okay. lol. anyways i still met vell at parkway for lunch before heading to work. that sickening fella insisted that i gave him a treat since i just got my very first pay. which is like a pathetic 85 bucks according to him. tsk.. 4 days of 4 hours only what! hahaha. sicko.
we were late for work! yes. delayed cause we met too late. so everything was pushed back. blahh. met serene then headed down to work. we didnt kena though. vell did.. kor came for youth today!! lol.. and jaren went to pull out his cap. SO CUTE! aiyoh. have never seen him bald in my whole entire life. surprisingly he didnt really grumble bout his shaved off hair. *huge emphasis on the word SURPRISINGLY*
ughhh. i didnt get a chance to catch cheaper by the dozen2 with the rest of them.. was delayed cause we couldnt decide which cinema to go and then chris started piano-ing again. sadly, i had to be back home by 7pm lah. nono, not curfew. hahaha! i'll die if thats my curfew okay. dinner with relatives from my mum's side! my uncle and auntie just came back from bangkok for a short while to settle some stuff. granny bought me this really pretty necklace thingy. im saving it for cny! :D
dined at wah hoe.. that restaurant thing which serves fantastic crabs and prawn paste chicken! WOOTS! and no chris, i am not drunked on chicken wings if you're going to ask. hahahaa.. so typical. food was yummy! yummiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!(: nice food, reasonable price, fantastic waiting time too! we waited for ONE WHOLE HOUR before the first dish arrived. bleah.
that geraldine ah. haiyoh. asked me to back to sng tomorrow FOR FUN. tsk. haha.. told her i got work and she was asking me to skip work and go to sng.. what's happening to kids these days!! a primary four girl asking me to skip work. *shakes head in disappointment* i miss my curry noodles back there though! maybe i should go back one day to eat their food and at the same time act as if im some da jie of hers picking her up so i can sneak past the security guard. :D

back to work once again! contract ends like this friday so i'll prolly be hunting for a new job after cny. will definitely miss everyone there man! i mean, where can you find such a fun workplace with mostly christians, nice people and super hilarious supervisors? neways, 9 hours passed in a blink of an eye today! only because orders came in non-stop and that means typing for 8 hours non-stop[excluding toilet break, jiak zua break and dinner time]. nuts lah! a HUGEEEEE thick stack of orders were passed among us NTdata-rians. boyboy ended up taking most of it. lol. can tell that the telephone pickers were getting busier and more forgetful! kept having to go to calvell to re-adjust some mistakes.
dinner was one of the best again tonight. hor fun! yay! :D alvin was our dustbin man. haha.. he eat like some of our leftovers. big eater lah that guy. then aunty june was like "scolding" yazid (a SUPERVISOR) and boyboy for holding hands and going to the toilet instead of heading for dinner at the pantry. work was fun today! expect the fact that the orders piled up very quickly. BOO! there was one order form with HUNDRED PLUS PLSU recipients in it. bill totalled up to 20,000+++. gosh! my richie rich! hahaha. kovel [or whatever his name is spelled as] gave serene that order form but of course she wasnt so stupid to type it all out lah! aunty jenny ended up typing it all. hah. then i did a 41 recipient one. killed me, almost! nuts la.
and of course, work wouldnt be fun without entertainers and hilarious supervisors. FOUR of them! lol. doesnt even feel like a workplace i tell you. first came uncle johnson and his fen cai can [means distributing his "property"]. property actually refers to order forms. HAHA. and that yong loon will be the first to chao. lol. sickening king. and uncle johnson doesnt use "yi ge sth-sth" but "yi li sth-sth". xDD then that yong loon will start gaying around with yazid during dinner time. stupid fella. seriously, theres a problem with the people working there. everyone's gone BONKERS somehow. then serene and i will start having outburst of laughters every few minute.

7 hours of work today! supposedly 9. but aunty jenny was kind enough to let the girls off at 9pm since the other department was still processing the orders. yeah, the guys were jealous. huang di wanted uncle johnson to let him off early and faked that he was a girl. so dumb lah! >.< anyway, ughhhhh. so tired now! and i still have 4 more 9-hour working days to go. noooooo. its getting kinda boring.. but i still like the entertainments. HAHA.
the office ordered fried rice for us. huge portion! very yummy. and oily too. then huang di broke his spoon while cutting the prawn.. so funny! serene was like laughing her head off lah. haiyoh. alvin still went to ask her whether she was laughing at him a not. tsktsk!
was doing a multiple order form. THIRTEEN in total for hampers only. was at my 12th one and the stupid comp got shut down. WAHHHHHH!!!! had to redo it again. *sulks* think i took like 1 hour to finish 26 orders [including the f&g one that came along with it]. that is super slow btw. selina's comp got hanged too while she was doing a 33 plus minus recipient order list but her data was recovered lor! SO UNFAIR. stupid comp just had to die on me. boo!

worked on saturday. 10am. ughhh.. had to pull myself outta bed. we were supposed to work till 2 but mamasan [aunty jenny] let us off at 1pm cause there werent much orders that day. ole!(: so me and serene had quick lunch before rushing down to church. i had worship prac.. yupp. 1st time im keyboarding for alvin. haha. so fun!! did gifting exercise test again for Lg. hospitality-12 points. helps, evangelist, administration and celibacy [OMGOSHHH!!]-10 points. finally, wisdom, missionary, voluntary poverty and service-9 points. gosh! and as usual, gift of interpretation of tongues is an absolute zero. haha. then sermon was on how God changed CITIES. was definitely an eye opener to me. there's nothing my God cannot do! cities with an average of 15 cases of homicides to ZERO cases overnight. yes, overnight change. that was after that prayer meeting thing which millions attended. SO COOL! i wanna go for a meeting like that! haha.
and today. 15th january. the official day that we have to pay adult fare for our bus and train rides. BAD BAD BAD. its going to be expensive like nuts man! x( woke up with puffy eyes. bleah. uh no, didnt cry the night before. was just too tired! not enough rest, work was the cause of it. new team prac. feels great to be back in new team! :D i will be committed, i will. we practisec an old song that everyone only remembered when it came to the bridge. wahaha! and there were so many people all of a sudden! yeah, all the new sec1s. my brother and that loud burper [nick low] were apparently at home doing i-dont-know-what at home when they were supposed to be there.

but work started only at 2 so me and serene went to barang barang [actually its singapore post] for lunch and to do some cny shopping. i bought my jeans and skirt already! soso pretty. we're going down to get more clothes tomorrow. muahaha. x)
was hired to do admin work at noel. so we had to type orders and stuff. wasnt as easy as i thought lah! still needed to go through supervision and stuff. actually its kinda confusing.. all the allocation, accept, blablabla. just a lot of things to remember and i got err, mixed up. HAHA. i went to type the cny code instead of T for telephone. =/ then i made 2 mistakes, same ones: allocating the wrong hamper to the wrong recipient. ughhhh. the pages all look the same okay.
so 4 hours of working wasnt as tiring as i thought.. had entertainments here and there. thank God for friendly and approchable [looks wrong, but yeah. you get the picture] people and also nice seniors. i realised 2 new things today. haha. one: theres such a company called chan mali chan. two: theres a building in singapore with 12 levels of guess what. anyways, today was the first youth service for 2oo6! gosh. guys are outnumbering the girls lah! >.< we had only 2 new sec one girls and like uh, 6+ sec one guys?! yes. including gideon and nicholas. lol. never imagined a day that our brothers would actually be official sojourners. a day like TODAY. hah! no Lg today so we had games! was pretty fun lah. good job guys!(;
then after service everyone was running about playing that whack-his/her-neck-and-shout-kha/krap! ughhhh. lele and jaron almost killed me. so rough lah! aiyoh. haha.. the worse part was i didnt even touch them. we had lotsa sweets and oreos passed around for everyone again. thanks uncle jem! ;D nick koped quite a few oreos lor.

so we were 1 hour late for the interview. x( thank goodness the interviewer was from church! anyways we were tested on our typing skills and surprisingly serene and i ended up at the same place, exactly. lol. but aunty jenny hasnt called yet. wahh! i need a job like urgently. currently bored to the extreme.. rotting at home and im like expanding horizontally! [oh no, im becoming like nigel, always stuffing myself with foodddddd.] >.<
then me and serene met up with audrey at ceni to catch wallace and gromit. haha.. the bonus madagascar video was totally hilarious lah! SO CUTEEE! like christmas in central park zoo and it was covered with snow all around. then i suppose wallace and gromit was pretty nice but i uh, fell asleep was too tired! serene went home after that and the both of us met brandon and sam neo to play lan. quan came along too. haha.. the best thing was that we played with the people in the lan shop so our enemies were like right behind us. that brandon dodo was saying how stupid one girl was without knowing that the girl was behind us!! like right behind us okay. SOTONGGG! oh yes, we had free m&ms too. lol.. that kept me and audrey from feeling giddy.
and today.
i stayed home the whole day doing nothing but msn, eat and sleept. BORINGG. no more holiday activities already. everyone's either schooling or working. bored stiff! but it rained the whole day so yeah, perfect for sleeping! muahaha.

was quite fun la.. we played zong ji mi ma also. loser had to eat some GROSS stuff! YUCK YUCK YUCK. i kena the damn bittergourd and brinjal and pig liver [which wasnt as bad as the other two lor]. SO SICK. then cass kept eating the sea snail thing.. EWWW!! cant imagine if audrey was there.. lol. the aluminium foil caught fire lah! SO PAISEH. everyone was screaming like siao and i think the worker there got sick of us.. we changed the foil like 4 times?
took pictures too! for uh, half an hour? lol. girls will always be girls.
alrights. gonna sleep soon.. lazy to type any further. job interview tomorrow. yikes! kinda regret trying out noel after i heard bee siew's job offer but neways i'll just go and try it out lah.

was looking at the 100 over [prolly even 200] mission trip pictures from uncle jem's cam ALONE. ole! its all burnt into a cd already and the pictures are great! sadly, i cant load it ALL up onto my photobucket cause theres far too many. yes, i shall post more mission pictures later. some of us walked out to casuarina for prata after the performance. chionged like mad lah.. and this year, i spent the first second of 2006 running. yes, running and singing a birthday song to jerry!! woots! imagine uh, 8 cranky teenagers running and singing birthday songs at 12 midnight. we had to rush back to celebrate uncle jem's birthday as well which fortunately fell on the same day as jerry's. 1st jan. how lucky!

and today was spent at town, again, with roughly the same group of people who watched narnia. audrey, alicia, anadee, joel, jerry, jonjon, brandon, jason, jon ng snr and myself. some crazy fella by the name of JOEL suggested meeting at town at 10am in the morning. INSANE! fancy suggesting such a idea when everyone only slept after at least 1am the night before. so we changed the meeting time to 11pm. fine. not much different cause out of the 10 people, only FOUR came on time. lol. dee was still sleeping when i called her, poor pastor ban was in a dilemma of whether to wake jonjon up cause joel was pestering him to wake jon up but ps ban said jon would "scold" him. wahaha! poor thing lah, they only reached home at 3am last night. the rest of them? prolly still snuggling like a certain SOMEBODY who was supposed to come along but didnt because of homework and laziness. i wonder who, hmmmm.........
so we had breakfast while waiting for the rest then went to play lan again! 2 and a half hours of lan has made me and audrey fear cs already. giddy like mad lah. we almost died. x( its fun nevertheless. hah. then 8 of us watched family stone while jon and jason watched narnia. JON'S SUGGESTIONS ARE REALLY NOT WORTH CONSIDERING I TELL YOU. first it was the meeting time thing and then came the movie thing. family stone was totally un-hilarious. not for us teenagers at least. most of the people there were adults and they laughed their head off at some stupid scenes which all we teens did was STONE.
at least i had distractions to keep me awake.
like:
-brandon's snoring. YES, snoring. LOL.
-and brandon pouring popcorn on my bag so we could share it without constantly asking for the popcorn to be passed.
TSK. i shall never sit beside him at any movies ever again.
then they continued another hour of lan after the movie but me and audrey were too giddy to play. hahaha. so we watched them express their kan chiong-ness while we just stood behind laughing our heads off.
wheee! school's starting soon. that means, PEACE at home. the kids will finally be GONE. ole!! i am VERY happy. hahahaha. miss school though... =/purrrrpleeee.<3
